Henry Rehberg
Lightdesigner and Programmer

Henry Rehberg is a lighting designer, programmer and educator working across theatre, opera, dance, musical theatre and live performance. He currently works as Lighting Director for choreographer and artist Sharon Eyal, contributing to the development and realisation of her distinctive visual language across international productions.
After completing his Master of Arts in Light Design with Distinction at Rose Bruford College in London, Henry has worked extensively across the UK and Europe. His design work ranges from opera and drama to musical theatre and contemporary dance.
His approach combines creative thinking with a strong technical understanding. Henry develops lighting concepts that support the visual language, atmosphere, and dramaturgy of a production, with a particular focus on detail and on the relationship between light, space, and performance.
As a lighting programmer, Henry specialises in ETC Eos and MA control systems, combining extensive console knowledge with expertise in networking and show control. He also develops bespoke software and technical solutions for productions that require capabilities beyond the standard tools of a lighting console.
Alongside his work in production, Henry teaches Event Law at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt and works as an EOS console and networking technology trainer for Electronic Theatre Controls in the UK and Germany.
